Discover a local brewery with deep roots in Northern Virginia's craft beer story. Lost Rhino Brewing Company began in 2011, when founder Matt Hagerman seized the opportunity to purchase brewing equipment from the former Old Dominion Brewing Company and give it a new home on Red Rum Drive.
Since then, the brewery has grown, but its approach remains grounded in the craft — brewing classic styles with local character and taking pride in doing things a little differently.
For this experience, you create your own flight, choosing four beers from the brewery's current tap lineup. Explore longtime favorites, discover a style you haven't tried before, or sample seasonal releases when available.
There's no predetermined flight — you choose what sounds good and enjoy the brewery at your own pace.
The road less traveled.
Lost Rhino was founded with a belief in taking the road less traveled. From giving brewing equipment from a pioneering local brewery a second life to building its own lineup of locally crafted beers, the brewery has remained closely connected to Northern Virginia's craft beer community.
Today, its 25-barrel brewhouse produces beers that combine classic styles with local flavor, while the brewery continues to collaborate with local businesses, eateries, and community events.
