Why Crave Locally

We don’t just tell you where to go. We know where we’re sending you.

Crave Locally experiences are built differently. Every place we recommend has been personally vetted, every experience is developed with our local partners, and every itinerary is designed around the people actually taking the trip.

Personally Vetted. Not Scraped From the Internet.

Our recommendations don't come from Google searches or publicly available lists.

Crave Locally is powered by our proprietary local tourism database, with 200+ data points per venue. We visit the places we feature, meet the people behind them, and personally verify the details that can make or break your experience — from what's actually available to families and dogs to accessibility, food options, atmosphere, amenities, and much more.

We've done the research so you don't have to.

Experiences You Won't Find Anywhere Else

We don't take a few existing activities and bundle them together.

We co-design experiences with our winery, brewery, farm, lodging, and other local partners, often creating elements specifically for Crave Locally guests.

Every experience includes something distinctive — whether it's special access, a private interaction, a unique pairing, a behind-the-scenes moment, or another Crave Locally Exclusive.

You're not simply booking several stops. You're booking an experience we've built together.

More Than an Itinerary

We don't want to hand you three addresses and send you on your way.

Your Crave Locally Field Guide brings the journey to life: local places worth discovering along your route, shops you might otherwise drive past, people and makers to look out for, what to try, and the stories behind the places you're visiting.

Because the best trips aren't just about where you stopped. They're about what you discovered along the way.

They'll Know You're Coming

When you book through Crave Locally, you're not simply showing up.

Our team coordinates your experience with our local partners so they know you're coming and can be ready to welcome you.

That means less uncertainty, fewer awkward surprises, and more of that wonderful feeling of arriving somewhere and realizing: “They were expecting us.”

“Allowed” Isn't the Same as “Welcome”

This matters to us. A winery that allows children isn't necessarily family-friendly. A brewery that permits dogs isn't necessarily a great place to bring one.

Our database goes much deeper. If we call an experience family-friendly, we've looked for the things that actually make families comfortable — space to play, changing facilities, appropriate food and drink options, activities, playgrounds, and the overall attitude toward younger guests.

The same goes for dogs. We look beyond “dogs permitted” to things like water bowls, dog stations, dedicated spaces, shade, walking areas, and whether four-legged guests are genuinely welcomed.

Because there's a big difference between “you can bring them” and “we'd love to have them.”
