Help finalize Crave Locally's Loudoun County venue database, visit venues in person, build relationships with wineries, farms and lodging partners, and help shape itineraries and customer bookings.
Crave Locally is an agritourism discovery and booking platform connecting visitors with wineries, farms, breweries, lodging, dining, and other countryside experiences across Northern Virginia.
With support from Loudoun County, Crave Locally is developing a comprehensive and highly structured database of local agritourism venues designed to make it easier for visitors to discover experiences that match their specific needs and interests.
At the center of this work is Crave Locally's proprietary venue database, which captures 214 structured data fields per venue and supports personalized discovery, itinerary development, curated packages, and booking.
Crave Locally is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and personable Venue Database, Partnerships & Booking Coordination Specialist to support the continued development and finalization of the Loudoun County venue database, coordinate with local tourism businesses and stakeholders, assist in creating visitor itineraries and packages, and support customer bookings.
This is not solely a research or data-entry role. The assignment requires someone who is comfortable speaking directly with venue owners, tourism partners, concierge teams, and customers — building relationships, asking questions, following up, and coordinating multiple parties to deliver a strong visitor experience.
Venue profiles are developed through structured desk research using public and online sources. Research covers core information across Crave Locally's database, including venue characteristics, amenities, visitor policies, family and pet suitability, accessibility, food and beverage offerings, activities, event capabilities, booking requirements, sustainability features, and other factors relevant to visitor decision-making.
Selected venues are visited in person to confirm what desk research cannot: the feel of the place, seating and shade, accessibility in practice, how families and dogs are actually received, and the details that make an itinerary work on the day.
The assignment combines remote research and database work, partner and customer communications, and targeted in-person venue visits within Loudoun County. Work will generally be organized around assigned venues, outreach priorities, customer requests, and package-development needs.
Compensation is $20 per hour. Scheduling is flexible, although some assignments may require availability during normal business hours, evenings, or weekends depending on venue operations, customer bookings, and scheduled site visits.
